This statistic shows the percentage change on a year earlier of the Consumer Price Index (CPI) in the United Kingdom (UK) from March 2015 to February 2016. The CPI rate is the most commonly used measure of inflation in the UK. Throughout 2015 the rate of CPI growth was very low. However, the level of inflation began to increase in 2016 resulting in a CPI of 2.3 percent in February and March of 2017.
