This statistic shows the rate of registrations of newly diagnosed cases of prostate cancer per 100,000 population in England from 1995 to 2020. The prostate is a gland located in the male reproduction system. Cancer of the prostate occurs when cells in the prostate begin to grow abnormally. In 2020, nearly 144 males per 100,000 population were registered as newly diagnosed with prostate cancer. This was a decrease from the previous year's rate of registration.
