This 2013 survey shows how commercial vehicle fleet companies perceived the legally required Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) training for their drivers and whether they thought it would cause a driver shortage in the United Kingdom. Regardless of the respondents' fleet size, over 50 percent of those surveyed said they agreed with the statement above, fearing a shortage of drivers because of the obligatory CPC training. About a fifth of the respondents said they disagreed with that notion.
