This statistic displays the number of products in development for multiple sclerosis (MS) management as of 2014, in the United States. As of July 2014, 15 such products were in Phase 2 of development. There are about 350,000 to 500,000 people in the country that are diagnosed with the disease. MS is a disease that damages nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord which disrupts the ability of the nervous system to communicate with the body.
