This statistic shows the forecasted Retail Price Index (RPI) inflation in the United Kingdom (UK) from the first quarter of 2017 to the first quarter of 2022. Such inflation is expected to rise every other quarter throughout 2017 before reaching a peak of 3.6 percent in the second and fourth quarters of 2018. After 2018 the Retail Price Index is expected to experience a quarterly decrease before stabilizing at 3.1 percent between the third quarter of 2019 and the second quarter of 2020, the latter half of 2020 the index is expected to increase by 0.1 percent, arriving at 3.2 percent.
