Retail Price Index (RPI) inflation forecast United Kingdom (UK) 2017-2023 This statistic shows the forecasted Retail Price Index (RPI) inflation in the United Kingdom (UK) from the first quarter of 2017 to the first quarter of 2023. Such inflation is expected to rise every other quarter throughout 2017 to a peak of 4.1 percent in the fourth quarter of 2017. After This the Retail Price Index is expected to experience a quarterly decrease before increasing again in fourth quarter of 2019, it is expected to continue to increase until the first quarter of 2023. The UK Retail Price Index of total goods showed a steady growth throughout the period, with the exception of 2009 whereby there the RPI of UK goods experienced a decline of 1.1 percent, whereas the Retail Price Index of UK services didn't encounter and negative growth whatsoever.
Historical monthly RPI data from 2014 to 2016 is available, as well as annual change to RPI from 2000 until 2015.
