Employment rate London (UK) 2016, by gender and age This statistic shows the employment rates of women and men in London in the United Kingdom (UK) in 2016, broken down by age group. While the employment rates were similar for men and women aged 16 to 24, men's employment rates at least 5 percent higher in the older age groups. The biggest difference in employment rates was calculated for 25-34 year-olds, with 74.4 percent of employed women compared to 90.3 percent of employed men.
