Austria: real estate activities sector personnel costs 2020

In 2020, the personnel costs of the real estate industry in Austria increased by 33.5 million euros (+1.8 percent) since 2019. With 1.9 billion euros, the personnel costs thereby reached their highest value in the observed period.
Personnel costs are made up of wages, salaries and employers' social security costs. They include taxes and employees' social security contributions retained by the employer, as well as the employer's compulsory and voluntary social contributions.
