Global aviation industry: monthly FTK change 2020-2021

Due to the coronavirus outbreak worldwide, airlines in the Asia Pacific region saw a decrease in freight tonne kilometers (FTKs) of 5.6 percent in December 2020 compared with December 2019. The next year, FTKs improved in the region, growing by 46.2 percent in April 2021 compared with the same month in 2020.
