Reasons for prepaid card use by underbanked U.S. households 2013
This statistic presents the main reasons for using prepaid cards by underbanked households in the United States in 2013. It was found that 39 percent of the U.S. underbanked households (having an account at an insured banking institution, but have also using financial services and products from non-bank, alternative financial services) used prepaid cards to pay for everyday purchases or to pay for bills.
