* In Germany's dual education system, students can start an apprenticeship (Ausbildung) after they graduate school (aged between 15 to 19 years). During the apprenticeship they spend part of their time in companies (50-70%) and part of their time attending vocational schools (Berufsschulen). It usually takes 2.5 to 3.5 years to complete an apprenticeship. The following jobs in the printing industry contribute to the figures:
