Encountering hateful content online by education France

This statistic shows the results of a survey about hateful statements on the internet, which was conducted in France in February 2015. It illustrates the exposure to hateful online content, by education level. Results show that people with a higher education level were more exposed to this type of content than people with a lower education level. Indeed, 55 percent of respondents with more than two years of higher education had come across homophobic statements, whereas only 34 percent of respondents with an education level below the Baccalauréat had been exposed to this type of content.
