This statistic displays the reasons car sharing (car club) members in London (UK) decided to use electric and hybrid vehicles in 2013/2014. The most common motivation for choosing a hybrid car appeared to be convenience, as 65 percent of members who chose a hybrid vehicle did so as it was the closest available vehicle. 57 percent of the respondents stated that they decided to choose a electric vehicle because they were curious to try an electric vehicle.
