Non-metallic mineral production value Canada by mineral 2020

In 2020, Canada shipped approximately 361.7 million Canadian dollars in value of peat. Peat is often used in agriculture and horticulture due to its ability to increase water infiltration and loosen clay soils. Over 1.5 billion Canadian dollars worth of diamonds were also shipped by Canada in that same year.
