The E-Plus Group was a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Dutch KPN Group and now belongs to Telefonica Germany.
According to the source, roughly 576,000 inactive contract SIM cards and 439,000 inactive prepaid SIM cards were checked out of the system in Q4 2012. In Q4 2013, roughly 360,000 inactive prepaid SIM cards were checked out of the system.
