Number of telephone calls made in Finland 2012-2022, by type of connection

The total volume of telephone calls made in Finland decreased steadily from 2012 to 2022. Throughout this period, the number of landline calls declined constantly, from 414 million calls in 2012 to 93 million calls in 2022. The number of mobile calls peaked in 2012 at over 4.9 billion and decreased thereafter. As of 2022, the number of mobile calls totaled roughly 3.1 billion.
