Annual revenue of Cineplex 2011-2021
In 2021, the revenue of movie theater chain Cineplex Inc. added up to nearly 656.7 million Canadian dollars, up from 418.3 million dollars a year earlier – an annual growth of 57 percent. However, the 2021 result amounts to less than 40 percent of the 1.67-billion-dollar revenue recorded in 2019, before the COVID-19 outbreak. Cineplex's main sources of revenue in 2021 included the box office and foodservice.
