U.S. airlines: operating profit per available seat mile 2018

The statistic illustrates the operating profit per available seat mile - a metric also referred to as unit profit - of selected U.S. airlines from the second quarter 2014 to the third quarter of 2018. Allegiant and Delta airlines reported the highest profit in the third quarter of 2018, with 2.1 U.S. cents per available seat mile.
