This statistic shows the share of imprisoned persons in Sweden as of 1st of October 2017, by type of crime. Over a quarter of all imprisoned persons in 2017 in Sweden had committed a life or health threatening crime (26 percent). Drug-related crimes was second biggest group of crime with 21 percent of imprisoned persons.
