Number of patient deaths while on organ transplant waiting list in Denmark 2019-2021

Seven patients died while being on the organ transplant waiting list for a new kidney in Denmark in 2021, which was a lower number than the previous years. Two patients died during the year while waiting for a liver transplant. There was one death each on the waiting list for lung and heart.
