Annual capacity of installed combined heat and power (CHP) schemes with a capacity equal to, or less than, 100 kilowatt electrical increased by 19 megawatts electrical in the period of consideration. In 2019, total installed capacity of such CHP schemes amounted to 45 megawatts electrical.

The source notes that a site may contain more than one CHP scheme; the capacity categories have changed since publication in the 2013 Digest. Additionally, MicroCHP schemes installed under FIT are not included in these figures. At the end of 2019, 531 such schemes were registered on Ofgems Central FIT Register totaling 0.58MWe.
