The frequency of eating at IKEA restaurants in Germany varies, as many customers prefer the cheaper hot dog station during a shopping trip. As a company IKEA has diversified businesses, being active not just with furniture products and restaurants, but also houses and apartments. Increasing revenues were recorded in recent years, with 5.28 billion euros generated in 2019. Based on revenue, IKEA was also the leading furniture retailer in Germany.
