Population listening to audio files in Norway 2009-2019, by gender
Overall, the use of audio media recently increased in Norway. A survey from 2019, found that 58 percent of men listened to audio content on an average day, which was a growth of three percent compared to the previous year. The share of Norwegian women consuming media such as CDs, vinyl, and online audio content was slightly lower, at 51 percent in 2019.
