Turnover change of the hospitality sector in the Netherlands 2018-2019

In 2018, it is estimated that the growth in the turnover of the hotel sector decreases to two percent. Moreover, besides the hotel sector, it is estimated that the restaurant, cafeteria and fast service as well as the cafe sector are facing the same development. The total hospitality sector will grow with two percent in 2019.
Looking at the revenue index of the hospitality industry, it can be seen that the first quarter of 2019 had a revenue index of 106.1 (index 2015=100). This figure increased to 135.6 in the second quarter of 2019, an increase of approximately 30 percent.
