Revenue index of the hospitality industry in the Netherlands 2015-2019 The statistic illustrates the revenue index of the hospitality industry in the Netherlands from the first quarter of 2015 to the first quarter of 2019. The revenue index of the hospitality industry in the Netherlands in the first quarter of 2019 was 106.1. Compared to the same quarter in 2018, this was an increase of roughly 5 percent. The revenue index indicated the hospitality sector makes a positive development. However, when estimating the growth of the hospitality sector in 2017, it is estimated that the growth in the turnover of the hotel sector decreases to 1.5 percent. Moreover, besides the hotel sector, it is estimated that the restaurant, cafeteria and fast service as well as the cafe sector are facing the same development. Nevertheless, it can be seen that out of the four reflected sectors in the hospitality industry, the restaurant sector is expected the highest growth, even though it faces a loss of roughly four percent growth compared to 2015.
