Number of infant deaths under old in Europe in 2014, by country
This graph displays the total mortality rates of infants aged under 1 year old in European countries in 2014, per 1,000 live births. In this year there were 8.4 deaths of infants under 1 year old in Romania for every one thousand live births that occurred; this was followed by Bulgaria and Slovakia with a rate of 7.6 and 5.8 deaths respectively. The lowest mortality rates in Europe emerged in Slovenia and Cyprus, both had death rates under 2 deaths per 1,000 live births.
