Cigarette smoking rate in South Korea 2010-2020, by gender
According to a survey conducted in South Korea in 2021, around 33 percent of women smoked cigarettes, while only 5.5 percent of women did. The proportion of cigarette smokers in South Korea, consisting mainly of men, has declined steadily in recent years.
