People at risk of poverty or social exclusion in Italy 2019, by region
The largest percentage of people in Italy at risk of povery or social exclusion live in the South. In Campania, about half of the population was at risk of poverty or social exclusion in 2019, the highest share nationwide. Sicily followed with only one percentage point less tha Campania, while Calabria ranked third with 39.8 percent of the population.
