Global solar PV capacity by select countries by grid connection 2021

In 2021, the cumulative solar photovoltaic (PV) capacity in China in the decentralized grid systems was over 108 gigawatts and close to 200 gigawatts in the centralized grid systems. The cumulative capacity of solar photovoltaics in decentralized grid systems came to nearly 43 gigawatts in the United States in the same year.
