Opinion on the necessity of parliamentary debate and vote on Brexit 2017 This statistic shows results from an online survey conducted in Great Britain in January 2017 on whether Article 50 should be invoked by the Prime Minister or only after a vote in the Parliament. From the respondents, 54 percent believed that after the referendum results Article 50 should be invoked by the Prime Minister without any additional voting in the Parliament.
