A survey from July 2021 found that around half of U.S. adults felt that opioid overdoses were a big problem in the United States. Among those aged 65 years and older this number was as high as 67 percent. This statistic shows the share of adults in the U.S. who felt opioid overdoses were a problem in the United States as of 2021.
