Total cargo traffic at Indian ports 2019 by state

The volume of sea cargo traffic handled at the ports of the Indian state of Gujarat was over 514 million metric tons by the end of the fiscal year 2019. That year, the minimum volume of cargo was handled at the ports of western state of Goa. About 70 percent of trade by value and more than 95 percent by volume across the country was done through maritime transport.
