NI: share of participation in sport outside of school 2018/2019, by type of sport
The statistic displays the results of a survey on the share of children participating in sport outside of school in Northern Ireland in 2018/2019, by type of sport. In 2018/2019, it was found that 47 percent of the respondents stated that they participate in swimming or diving outside of school. Overall in 2019, sport participation in Northern Ireland was at its highest rate in recent years at 56 percent.
