As of February 2017, average consumer satisfaction with the four major banks stood at a lower level than with banks overall. 79.9 percent of consumers were satisfied with the big four compared to 81.9 percent satisfaction overall. Of the big four banks, Westpac was the worst performer with a satisfaction level of 77.3 percent.
