Pattern of receiving calls while driving among motorists in India 2017
This statistic represents the results of a survey in 2017 across eight cities in India about the pattern of how two-wheeler drivers receive calls while driving. During the survey period, a majority of drivers, about 31 percent said they stop at a safe location before answering the call, while about seven percent each said they would hand over the phone to the pillion or answer when they stopped at a traffic signal.
