The study points out that cooked pressed cheese was the most consumed type of cheese, with a total volume of more than 236,000 tons. Another popular type of this dairy product was soft cheese, of which about 188,000 tons were eaten in 2016. In comparison, the consumption of blue cheese represented only 30,510 tons.
