Italy: popularity of zero kilometer cars among car owners in 2016

This statistic illustrates the popularity of new, used, and zero kilometer (zero mileage) cars in Italy in 2016. According to the survey results, nearly 60 percent of Italian car owners had bought a new cars, while nearly a third of them (28 percent) had bought a used car. Zero kilometer cars were the least popular type of car: only 14 percent of respondents had purchased one. Zero kilometer cars are new cars that have already been registered by the dealer or the manufacturer.
