This statistic illustrates the popularity of new, used, and zero kilometer (zero mileage) cars in Italy in 2016, broken down by gender. According to the survey results, used cars were slightly more popular among men (30 percent of them had bought one), while zero-kilometer cars were more popular among women than men (15 and 12 percent, respectively). Zero kilometer cars are new cars that have already been registered by the dealer or the manufacturer.
