Health care expenditure among Spanish households 2021, by type of product or service
In 2021, the total health care expenditure on therapeutic appliances and equipment by Spanish households amounted to over eight billion euros, the highest among other health care products or services. Meanwhile, Spanish families spent around 4.8 billion euros on pharmaceutical products and over 3.7 billion euros on dental services that year. On average, a person spent around 104 euros on pharmaceuticals in Spain by that time.
