Share of people who are active members of a political party the Netherlands 2008-2018
From 2008 onwards, the share of people who were active members of political parties in the Netherlands decreased. In 2008, five percent of people surveyed indicated that they were members of a political organization, whereas ten years later this figure had fallen by two percent.
