Women who chose a IUD with progestogen as contraceptive in Spain 2022, by age
According to a survey carried out in Spain in 2022, the age group with the highest share of women who used a IUD with progestogen as a contraceptive method was those between 40 and 44 years of age, with 8.7 percent of women within that age group opting for this method. Based on the same survey, that year the most used contraceptive method in the European country was condoms.
