This statistic displays what the most common mobile app uses are for NHS patients ahead of, or during a hospital visit in the United Kingdom (UK). In 2017, 25 percent of patients surveyed used mobile app technology for general information, such as hospital locations, while 12 percent used mobile apps to manage prescriptions, update personal information and mange their own illness. Only 3 percent have used mobile app technology to have a virtual consultancy.
