This graph shows the percentage of drinking water worldwide where plastic particles were detected in 2017. It shows that drinking water in Europe on average contained the lowest percentage of plastic fibers, with 72 percent. Drinking water in the USA and Beirut contained the highest average of contaminated samples with 94 percent.
