Italy: belief in paranormal phenomena in the North East 2001-2018

This statistic illustrates the popularity of paranormal theories in selected years between 2001 and 2018. According to the study, one in four respondents (25 percent) believed in the existence of the devil in 2018. This was the same as the share of respondents who believed that the spirits of the dead could come back, which increased from 16 percent of respondents in 2006 to 25 percent in 2018.
