It can be seen that during the time period displayed the share of SMEs that had a loan application rejected fluctuated. The highest percentage of loan rejections to small and medium enterprises occurred in 2012 where the rejection rate was 11.12 percent, whilst the lowest percentage of loan rejections occurred in 2016 at 6.21 percent.
