This statistic shows the average price of single-family rental properties in selected metro areas in the United States in summer 2017 and winter 2018. Single-family rental properties were 26 percent less expensive in winter 2018 (185,000 U.S. dollars), compared with summer 2017 (250,000 U.S. dollars). In San Francisco, rental price of a single-family property amounted to 1,037.5 U.S. dollars in winter 2018, down from 1,285 U.S. dollars in summer 2017.
