Argentina: share of e-commerce sales 2018, by payment method

Approximately one out of ten e-commerce sales carried out in Argentina throughout 2018 were paid with cash, as per the Argentine Chamber of Electronic Commerce (CACE, as abbreviated in Spanish). Still, credit card was, by far, the leading payment method for online acquisitions in that country, with a share of 78 percent in 2018. Moreover, considering online activities in Latin America as a whole, around 22 percent of the e-commerce sales in that region is concentrated in Argentina.
