From 2012 to 2019, the land area used for agricultural organic roots production in Denmark increased until 2017, reaching nearly 2.7 thousand hectares. In 2018, the land area had declined to roughly 2.4 thousand hectares and peaked in the year that followed at almost 2.9 thousand hectares.
