Agricultural land area used by organic farms in Denmark 2012-2023
From 2012 to 2014, the agricultural land area used by organic farms decreased slightly from nearly 183 thousand hectares to roughly 176 thousand hectares. In the years that followed, the agricultural land area used by organic farms increased again and peaked at approximately 313 thousand hectares in 2021. As of 2023, it decreased slightly and amounted to almost 304 thousand hectares.
