Turkey: tourism income by type of expenditure 2022

The annual income from tourism in Turkey increased remarkably in 2022, after dropping sharply in 2020 due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and reached roughly 46.5 billion U.S. dollars. Overall, tourism-related income from food and beverage amounted to roughly 7.5 billion U.S. dollars in 2022, increasing even above pre-pandemic levels.
