The annual expenditure on domestic leisure and vacation trips in Turkey bounced back in 2022 after falling dramatically in 2020 due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Overall, the expenditure of domestic travelers surpassed pre-pandemic figures significantly in 2023, peaking at over 112.5 billion Turkish lira.
